🚩 Current Campaign: Worth Fighting For

Community and social service workers across Ontario — including ASCO members — are standing together in the Worth Fighting For campaign. This campaign is about showing the public and government that our work is essential and that workers deserve fair wages, secure jobs, and proper funding for the services communities rely on.

📌 Why it matters to ASCO members:

💵 We are bargaining right now, and this campaign directly supports our fight for fair pay.
🛡️ We need stronger protections around workload, vacation, and job security.
✊ When we stand united, we put real pressure on decision-makers.

September 3, 2025 – ASCO Membership Meeting
🖥️ Virtual meeting to update members on bargaining and the Worth Fighting For campaign.
September 4, 2025 – Hamilton Rally
🚍 Hundreds of OPSEU/SEFPO and CUPE Ontario members rallied in Hamilton for the official launch of the campaign.
September 5, 2025 – Petition Deliveries
📄 Actions took place at multiple MPP offices across Ontario, including Peterborough, Richmond Hill, Barrie, Port Hope, Lindsay, Kingston, Belleville, Ottawa, and Renfrew/Pembroke.
