⚖️ Grievances & Workplace Rights

If you believe your rights under the Collective Agreement have been violated, you have the right to file a grievance.

✅ What to remember:

• Fill out the form completely (your info, grievance details, desired settlement).
• Must be signed by an authorized union rep.
• Submit within timelines set in your CA.
• Make 3 copies:
  1. 🏢 Management
  2. 📂 Local (union)
  3. 👤 Grievor (you)

If unresolved, your steward/local rep can refer it to arbitration.

📘OPSEU/SEFPO Education

As a member in good standing, you can register for OPSEU/SEFPO educational programs. These cover topics like:

• Union basics & leadership skills
• Health & safety training
• Human rights, equity & inclusion
• Sector-specific bargaining strategies

📌 Important:

• Registration is done through your LEC (Local Executive Committee).
• All education must be within Region 3 for our members.
• Approval from your Local is required before attending.

OPSEU/SEFPO awards thousands of dollars in scholarships each year to support members and their families.

For Dependants (children of members):
